Camilo Vivas: Artist, Producer, and Designer based in New York City

I am a sensitive, powerful, and loving human who balances creativity, pragmatism, and romanticism. My primary skills are organizing, writing, and visualizing, combining digital and analog media. I also speak English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

I aim to structure artworks that show and interact with the identities, landscapes, and cultural heritage of the places I have visited, migrated, or immersed in through my art retirements. Thus, Europe, the USA, and Latin America are the 3 main territories of my artistic and creative practices and where I have participated in several collective exhibitions, curatorships, and shows.

In my 20 years of experience, I have also been an active member of multiple cultural organizations, projects, events, and creative teams. I create and facilitate art spaces and platforms to support colleagues and artists in their creative endeavors each time.

My ethics are always aligned with the defense of life as the central value, like the Vitalists from the German philosophy schools and the indigenous people from all over the world have continually stated as the core purpose of every human life.
